One thing I never expected was that I would fall in love with winter. I used to count down the days to summer just as soon as November hit, I'd pass the time planning a warm weather vacation, and I'd spend as little time as I could outside, my outdoor time consisted of running as fast as I could to and from my car. But that was then, now I look forward to winter, to the cooler weather, and to the snow! I attribute this change to my dear horse, (oh, and comfy, cute winter riding gear @mountainhorseofficial ). Not only did I discover that I LOVE riding in the snow and testing Ace's patience by bounding through belly-deep snow drifts, but I found that winter is the best time to ride for many reasons, it's not hot (no sweating), the flies aren't out, and all of the spooky things are covered in snow. What do you love about winter?

P.S. I'm still planning a warm weather winter trip, I need to shake that mid-winter chill off so that I can finish the season out strong.
